Innovator Industrial Services is pleased to welcome Bobby Snow to the team as our new Senior Software Engineer, based out of our Spruce Grove office.
Bobby joined Innovator on August 4, 2026, bringing with him 20 years of experience in the IT industry and 15 years in software development. His background combines software engineering, enterprise systems, data architecture, automation, and industrial technology—experience that gives him a strong understanding of how technology can support both day-to-day operations and larger business transformation initiatives.
Throughout his career, Bobby has worked across the full application-development lifecycle. His experience includes leading full-stack development projects, creating automated reporting solutions, collaborating with business units on system design, integrating new features, modernizing existing applications, and supporting enterprise systems through refactoring and upgrades.
He has also contributed to ERP solution architecture, particularly in areas such as construction management, cost control, and finance. His work has included restructuring data pipelines, centralizing systems, migrating data warehouses, and supporting more than 150 applications through ETL workflows, backend development, and technical documentation.
His core technical experience includes .NET, SQL, Azure, and modern data platforms.
Technology Built Around Real-World Operations
One of the strengths Bobby brings to Innovator is experience developing technology for complex operational and industrial environments.
His previous projects include developing a field logistics software package covering dispatch, scheduling, and maintenance that supported work involving CNRL and 32 vendors. He has also developed a SaaS-based LEM system for the construction industry, including an improved approval workflow integrated with ERP systems.
Bobby has worked with teams developing SaaS solutions for NDT inspection report generation and automation, as well as with a startup creating an industrial IoT system designed to track sensors on equipment through a real-time historian.
His data-engineering experience has also operated at enterprise scale. In one project, Bobby worked with data from Caterpillar sources and transformed it for integration with more than 10 ERP systems, helping create a centralized backend capable of supporting thousands of enterprise reports.
